I’ve always been a creative problem solver. For over twenty years, I've led design at some of the most recognized consumer brands in the world, building products and mentoring the teams behind them.
Outside of design I enjoy making art and spending time on the water in the Pacific Northwest.

My Approach
Good design isn't decoration, it's clarity. I start by understanding the problem deeply before making any changes.
From there it's about simplicity, removing what doesn't need to be there, and making sure every decision serves the person using the product.
